Ms Maria I. Beznosova

In 1992 Maria I. Beznosova became the Head of International Relations Office. Since 1994 Dr. Beznosova has coordinated the students exchange between Udmurt State University and the University of Granada (Spain), Luneburg University (Germany), Helsinki University (Finland) and Keimyung University (South Korea) within International Bilateral Agreements.

Being the Head of International Relations Office, Maria I. Beznosova has played a substantial pro-active role in the implementation of several international projects in UdSU (TEMPUS/TACIC, SOROS foundation, DAAD and others). She was a coordinator of the 3-year NISCUPP grant with the University of Central Florida - Certificate on International Political Economy and Policy.

Functions:

1. Works out operative and long-term strategy of the UdSU international activity (upon the Rector's sanction).

2. Coordinates and charges the activity of other departments of UdSU in working out and putting through international agreements, programs, projects and contracts.

3. Manages:

• implementing the international agreements and contracts provisions;
• elaboration of bilateral agreements with international partners to solve the problem of education equivalence;
• working out the possibilities to establish the UdSU representative offices in the Universities abroad.

4. Charges

• cooperation between the University international students and Deans Offices of the UdSU Faculties;
• implementing the State Legal Acts and Laws of RF, as well as International Law standards in terms of international activity;
• aknowledgment of qualification acquired at UdSU by way of State Educational Certificates.

5. Coordinates and charges the activity of:

• International Relations Office;
• Center of International Education;
• Center for American Studies;
• Center of Spanish Language and Culture;
• French Center of Resources.

7. Promotes and assists convening international research and methodological scientific events (conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.)
