The Institute of Languages and Literature is popular with school leavers for the reason that it represents the leading in the Udmurt Republic linguistic, literary and pedagogical schools and offers a wide range of bachelor and master degree programmes in the Russian language and literature, English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese languages. Knowledge of several foreign languages is a prerequisite for the successful work in most careers today. The students of the Institute have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at partner universities abroad and to participate in various international programs which increases their competitiveness on the labour market.
