The Institute of Art and Design today is an educational and scientific institution that occupies an extensive professional university and postgraduate space in education, culture, art, printing, architectural and design engineering, television advertising, choreographic, vocal, instrumental art, theater direction. Educational programs offered at the Institute cover almost the full range in the field of art and culture to provide polyartistic (multicultural) education and to attract creative applicants. Graduates of the Institute successfully work as artists and teachers in general education and art schools, in advertising, environmental design, museums, theaters, musical and choreographic teams and other related careers.
In addition of Departments, the structure of the Institute of Art and Design includes the Educational Art Gallery of the Institute, laboratories “Batik and Tapestry”, “Ceramics”, “Artistic Metal Processing”, “Painting on Wood”, “Art of the Poster”, and Costume Design Laboratory. The main directions of scientific work are “Theory and History of Art”, a comprehensive study of “The Sign Vehicle of Culture and Art ","Fine and Decorative Arts and Architecture”, “The General Theory of the Artistic Process”, scientific support of art and pedagogical education.
